REVOLUTION GONE

The issue No 7 is whole dedicated to ROMANIA. Obviously it’s nowhere near a complete guide to this beautiful country (there won’t be any sightseeing of the gloomy Ceausescu mansion, no interview with Dracula nor any documentary photographs of the Bucharest poverty districts) as we’ll just leave that to others. What you’ll find here are interviews that are the fruit of our journey to Transylvania and Bucharest. For this issue we interviewed artists, fashion people, a choreographer, a club owner, a gay activist, a journalist who shared with us his impressive collection of photographs and the Romanian Madonna. Moreover, we show works by Alex Mirutziu, probably the only gay Romanian artist, and a series of photographs made with a hidden camera nearby the salty lakes of Transylvania. The cover displays a drawing by Dan Perjovschi, while the comic strip is the work of the great Matei Branea.
